Minister for Health
if he will outline the number of patients who have been referred from the Limerick, Ennis and Nenagh Hospitals to the Neuroscience/Neurosurgical Unit at Cork Regional Hospital for 1990 and 1991; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
Minister for Health (Dr. O'Connell):
The number of patients from the MidWestern Health Board area referred to the Neuroscience/Neurosurgical Unit at Cork Regional Hospital for the years 1990 and 1991 is 175 and 197 respectively. The information is not collected on a hospital referral basis. The number of referrals are as follows:—
