Minister for the Environment (Mr. M. Smith):
The equivalent of six full-time persons are serving in my constituency office. The number is comprised of an executive officer, a staff officer, three clerical assistants, including two job-sharers, a personal secretary and personal assistant. A special adviser is employed separately on a contract basis.
The executive officer, staff officer and clerical assistants are officers of my Department and are paid on the general service salary scales for these grades.
