Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry
when a suckler cow grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Wexford; and if he will expedite payment.

The application of the person named for grants under the 1993 suckler cow premium scheme is being processed at present and a 60 per cent advance as provided for in EU Regulations, in respect of two cows, which is the quota held by him at present, will be paid shortly.

There is no grant aid available from my Department in the circumstances specified by the Deputy.

the reason a person (details supplied) in County Cork is being refused a beef premium grant.

My Department is unable to trace any application from [1634] the person named for grants under the January-February 1993 and June 1993 special beef premium schemes. He has already been paid his grants under the December 1992 special beef premium scheme.

when a cattle headage grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Mayo.

The person named will be paid an advance of his cattle headage grant shortly. His application is being processed further at present and if found in order the balance will be paid in February 1994.

when cattle and sheep headage grants will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Mayo.

The person named was paid an advance of his cattle headage grant on 27 November 1993. His application is being processed further at present and if found in order the balance will be paid in February 1994. He was paid his sheep headage grant on 13 January 1994.
