asked the
Minister for the Marine
if an application has been received from Kiltane Sea Angling Club in respect of assistance for the provision of a slipway at Doohoma, Ballina, County Mayo, which area is used extensively for shore fishing during the season; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
Minister for the Marine (Mr. Andrews):
An application has been received from Mayo County Council requesting grant aid towards the provision of a slipway at Doohoma, County Mayo. This proposal will be considered for possible aid when the Structural Funds framework has been approved by the European Commission.
