Mr. Deasy
asked the
Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry
if he will examine the case of a person (details supplied) in County Waterford whose entitlement to headage payments under the disadvantaged area scheme for 1992 was disallowed whereas the following year it was agreed that his lands were in the disadvantaged area and payment issued; and, in view of the circumstances, if payment for 1992 will be granted.

The person named did not lodge an application under the 1992 cattle headage beef cow scheme and therefore cannot be considered for payment.
