  55.  Mr. Killeen  Information on Tony Killeen  Zoom on Tony Killeen   asked the Minister for the Environment  Information on Michael Smith  Zoom on Michael Smith   the current position with regard to Lisdoonvarna/Doolin water supply scheme; and when construction of the scheme will commence.

Minister for the Environment (Mr. M. Smith): Information on Michael Smith  Zoom on Michael Smith  The tender for the site investigation contract for this scheme was approved by my Department in December 1993 and this work is currently in [1708] progress. I cannot yet indicate when the scheme will go to construction.
