  134.  Mr. Durkan  Information on Bernard Durkan  Zoom on Bernard Durkan   asked the Minister for Health  Information on Brendan Howlin  Zoom on Brendan Howlin   the total number of long-stay geriatric patients in the various public hospital beds throughout the country at present; the total number of nursing staff deployed to cater exclusively for these patients; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Minister for Health (Mr. Howlin): Information on Brendan Howlin  Zoom on Brendan Howlin  It is assumed that the Deputy is referring to the number of long-stay geriatric patients occupying acute public hospital beds. [1743] This information is not available in my Department.
