  79.  Dr. O'Hanlon  Information on Rory O'Hanlon  Zoom on Rory O'Hanlon   asked the Minister for Health  Information on Michael Noonan  Zoom on Michael Noonan   if persons in receipt of disabled person's maintenance allowance at the relevant time will qualify for payment under the equality legislation if they fulfil the conditions similar to women under the social welfare legislation. Minister for Health (Mr. Noonan,: Information on Michael Noonan  Zoom on Michael Noonan  Limerick East): As men and women have always been treated equally with regard to payment of disabled person's maintenance allowance, the question of payment to women under the equality legislation does not arise.
