[9210/95]

Minister for Health (Mr. Noonan,: Information on Michael Noonan  Zoom on Michael Noonan  Limerick East): I have been informed by Beaumont Hospital that the patient to whom the Deputy refers is on the waiting list for admission for an angiogram.

In relation to Beaumont Hospital, there have been a number of occasions in recent months when, owing to the Accident and Emergency Department [620] being particularly busy, elective admissions have been cancelled.

The person concerned was admitted today.
