Minister for the Environment
when a contractor will be appointed to Sixmilebridge sewage scheme, County Clare; and if EU approval to proceed has been received.

Minister for the Environment (Mr. Howlin):
The Sixmilebridge sewerage scheme is included under Stage 1 of the South East Clare Wetlands Scheme which has been submitted to the European Commission for financing under the Cohesion Fund. Funding for the project will be considered when the Cohesion Fund application is determined.
