Mr. Aylward
asked the
Minister for Enterprise and Employment
the current position concerning the outstanding pay related entitlements to employees of a company (details supplied) by the receiver; and the future payments, if any, due to the former employees.
[3187/96]
Minister for Enterprise and Employment (Mr. R. Bruton):
I assume the Deputy is referring to the insolvency payments scheme under which certain outstanding pay related entitlements due to employees on the insolvency of their employer can be paid by the State on application by a relevant officer, in this case, the receiver. I have to inform you that there are no outstanding claims in respect of this company in my Department nor are future payments anticipated under the scheme.
