Ahern  Information on Dermot Ahern  Zoom on Dermot Ahern   asked the Minister for the Marine  Information on Seán Barrett  Zoom on Seán Barrett   the procedures in place within his Department for monitoring the use of mobile phones by unestablished staff for purposes which are personal to the authorised user; the plans, if any, he has for improvements in this respect; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Minister for the Marine (Mr. Barrett): Information on Seán Barrett  Zoom on Seán Barrett  All bills for mobile phones are monitored before payment. I am satisfied that this monitoring is sufficient to ensure that there is no abuse of the mobile phones provided for such staff.
