  182.  Mr. Aylward  Information on Liam Aylward  Zoom on Liam Aylward   asked the Minister for Education  Information on Niamh Bhreathnach  Zoom on Niamh Bhreathnach   if her attention has been drawn to the fact that the lease for the headquarters of the Community Games has expired; and if she will assist this body in acquiring a suitable premises in view of the fact that it celebrates its 30th anniversary in 1997. Minister for Education (Ms Bhreathnach): Information on Niamh Bhreathnach  Zoom on Niamh Bhreathnach  I am aware that the National Community Games are vacating their premises shortly and my Department has met with the organisation regarding this matter.

While funding is not available under the sports capital programme towards the cost of acquiring premises, my Department is prepared to consider an application towards the cost of refurbishing any new premises acquired.
