Minister for Agriculture and Food
when a person (details supplied) in County Mayo will receive 1998 cattle headage in view of the fact he has not been notified of any problem with his area aid application.

Minister for Agriculture and Food (Mr. Walsh):
The area aid application submitted by the herdowner named was incomplete in that it did not include all necessary maps. In order to finalise his claim my Department has issued townland maps to the person named, asking him to outline the plots in question. When a reply has been received, the application will then be further processed.

when a person (details supplied) in County Mayo will receive 1998 sheep headage and a suckler cow premium in view of the fact that he re-submitted maps to the area aid unit and was told his application was cleared for payment.

Minister for Agriculture and Food (Mr. Walsh):
The person named applied for 200 ewes under the 1998 sheep headage scheme on 9 January 1998 and for five cows under the 1998 suckler cow premium scheme on 3 June 1998. As the area aid application of the person named has now been fully processed, all outstanding payments due will issue shortly.
