Minister for Education and Science
the service, if any, he will provide for a person (details supplied) in County Waterford who has dyslexia; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Minister for Education and Science (Mr. Martin):
The needs of the pupil to whom the Deputy refers have not previously been brought to my Department's attention.
I have asked my Department's inspectorate to investigate this pupil's needs as soon as possible [1093] with a view to determining what, if any, additional educational supports are required.
