Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment
if she has assessed the proposed agreement on trade union recognition and discussed the matter with all relevant State agencies who have an input to make; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment (Ms Harney):
Consultations with the social partners and the relevant state agencies about implementation of the proposals in the report of the high level group on trade union recognition are ongoing. Following these consultations I intend to put implementation proposals to Government.
