Minister for Health and Children
the reason Scoil Mhuire, Belgard, Tallaght, Dublin 14, has been left without a speech and language therapist since April 1999; and if he will investigate the matter.

The provision of speech and language therapy services is a matter for the relevant health board. I have had inquiries made of the Eastern Health Board in this matter. I understand that the board has encountered difficulties in finding a suitable candidate to fill the post. However, I am assured that efforts will continue to be made to have the post filled as soon as possible.
