Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform
if extra accommodation will be provided at Cork prison; and, if so, the date in this regard.

Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform (Mr. O'Donoghue):
Prison service officials, including the Prison Governor, in conjunction with the Office of Public Works, are preparing proposals for consideration to provide additional cellular accommodation and ancillary facilities at Cork prison.
I am not in a position to give a time scale at this stage.
