An Leas-Cheann Comhairle:
I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 21 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Donal Moynihan – the possibility of decentralisation of Government offices to Macroom and other north-west Cork towns; (2) Deputy Seán Ryan – the need for an industrial relations audit at St. Ita's Hospital, Portrane; (3) Deputy Gormley – the serious staffing problems at St. Bridget's national school in Haddington Road; (4) Deputy Deenihan – the loss of a teacher at Asdee National School, County Kerry, and the consequences for the pupils; (5) Deputy Shatter – the public concerns resulting from Dr. Elwood working as a locum in Irish hospitals; (6) Deputy Aylward – the status of Kilkenny City; and (7) Deputy Connaughton – the rejection of area-based payments by the European Commission.
The matters raised by Deputies Deenihan, Connaughton, Shatter and Aylward have been selected for discussion.
