Minister for Education and Science
the reason there is a delay in dealing with an application made in November 1999 for a remote transport grant or taxi service for a person, details supplied, in County Kerry attending a special needs class in County Kerry.

I am pleased to inform the Deputy that my Department has recently sanctioned a transport grant in respect of the child in question.
