Minister for Education and Science (Dr. Woods): Information on Michael J. Woods  Zoom on Michael J. Woods  The resource teaching support at St. Catherine's National School, Rush, County Dublin was reviewed on 10 January 2002. I am pleased to advise the Deputy that my Department approved the appointment of a full-time resource teacher for the school at that point.

Minister for Education and Science (Dr. Woods): Information on Michael J. Woods  Zoom on Michael J. Woods  The school referred to by the Deputy has the services of a full-time resource teacher post that is shared with three other schools in the area.

My Department is currently examining an application for resource teacher support for additional pupils in the school and further contact will be made with the school management as soon as this process has been completed.
