  459.  Mr. Stagg  Information on Emmet Stagg  Zoom on Emmet Stagg   asked the Minister for Finance  Information on Charlie McCreevy  Zoom on Charlie McCreevy   the position in relation to the purchase of the site for the Leixlip Garda station, Leixlip, County Kildare; when planning permission will be sought for same; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Minister of State at the Department of Finance (Mr. Parlon): Information on Tom Parlon  Zoom on Tom Parlon  The Commissioners of Public Works expect to close the sale on the site for the new Garda station in Leixlip in the coming weeks. The timescale for construction will be determined by the Department of Justice, Equality and Law Reform building programme priority list under the Garda building programme, including provision for the planning permission process.
