Minister for Health and Children
the reason the home help hours for a person (details supplied) in County Mayo were cut, on review, to ten hours per week given that this person needs the maximum hours of help that are available; and the reason this person is being made to suffer.

Minister for Health and Children (Mr. Martin):
Responsibility for the provision of health services in Mayo rests with the Western Health Board. My Department has, therefore, asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and reply direct to him.
