asked the
Minister for Education and Science
if an application for resource teaching by a person (details supplied) in County Kildare can be investigated and considered; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Minister for Education and Science (Mr. N. Dempsey):
I am advised that my Department has no record of receiving a request for resource teaching support for the pupil in question. My officials will contact the school authorities to clarify the child's needs.
