Minister for Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs (Éamon Ó Cuív): Information on Éamon Ó Cuív  Zoom on Éamon Ó Cuív  The DED of Croagh Patrick, in which Murrisk is situated, shows the [514]following population decreases: 1926-1996, 37.59%; 1926-2002, 32.63 %.

As the Deputy is aware, areas considered for inclusion in the CLÁR programme are those which suffered an average 50% decrease in population. As the Croagh Patrick DED did not attain this average, it was not found eligible for inclusion.
