Minister of State at the Department of the Taoiseach (Ms Hanafin): Information on Mary Hanafin  Zoom on Mary Hanafin  I move:

That the proposal that Dáil Éireann approve the draft Civil Service Code of Standards and Behaviour, copies of which were laid before Dáil Éireann on 29 November 2000, be referred to the Joint Committee on Finance and the Public Service in accordance with paragraph (2) of the Orders of Reference of that committee, which, not later than 3 July 2003, shall send a message to the Dáil in the manner prescribed in Standing Order 85, and Standing Order 84(2) shall accordingly apply.
