Mr. Gilmore asked the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government if further to his comments during replies to Parliamentary Question Nos. 53 and 55 of 13 June 2006 in the Houses of the Oireachtas, he will identify five developments in Dublin, Cork, Galway, Limerick and Waterford where affordable houses below the figure of €200,000 are currently available; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Minister of State at the Department of the Environment, Heritage and Local Government (Mr. N. Ahern): Information supplied by the relevant local authorities, which is set out below, indicates some examples of housing units being sold at prices below €200,000 under the affordable housing scheme:
•Cork City Council have been recently advertising affordable units for sale at prices ranging from €126,000 to €173,000 depending on type, size and location in developments in Blackrock, Tivoli and Hollyhill.
