  87.  Deputy Joanna Tuffy      asked the Minister for Finance      the position regarding all contracts for the years 2007 and 2008 with consultants in relation to the preparation of reports of any [658]kind; the name of the consultants; the cost for each report; and if he will provide this information in tabular form; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Minister for Finance (Deputy Brian Lenihan):    The following table sets out details of all consultancy contracts entered into in the years 2007 and 2008 which resulted in or are intended to result in the production of a report. Information on the following offices is included; the Department of Finance, the Office of the Revenue Commissioners, the Office of Public Works, the Public Appointments Service, the Valuation Office, the Office of the Ombudsman, the Commission for Public Service Appointments, the State Laboratory, and the Office of the Comptroller and Auditor General. In addition the Office of the Appeal Commissioners did not have any relevant contracts in the period to which the Deputy refers.
