  282.  Deputy Denis Naughten  Information on Denis Naughten  Zoom on Denis Naughten   asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform  Information on Dermot Ahern  Zoom on Dermot Ahern   the cost of public advertising funded by his Department in 2008; the breakdown between statutory and non-statutory; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform (Deputy Dermot Ahern): Information on Dermot Ahern  Zoom on Dermot Ahern  My Department, like all other Departments in the discharge of its remit, is required from time to time to engage in public information campaigns. Public policy areas which have been subject to campaigns of this nature include trafficking in human beings, domestic violence and anti-racism, to name just a few. The precise expenditure on these items in my Department for 2008 is not readily available. I have made arrangements for this to be compiled and I will forward it to the Deputy when it is completed.
