[649]Minister of State at the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment (Deputy Dara Calleary): Information on Dara Calleary  Zoom on Dara Calleary  The recommendations contained in the Report of the Special Group on Public Service Numbers and Expenditure Programmes are one of the inputs to the Government’s formulation of a response to the challenges which face the economy.

I am examining the potential impact of all the recommendations which refer to my Department in the context of Estimates for 2010.

In the light of this it would be premature to indicate a position in regard to the specific recommendation referred to by the Deputy.
