I propose to answer Questions Nos. 584 and 585 together.
I wish to inform the Deputy that the total number of persons under 21 years of age in prison custody on 16 April, 2010 was 425. This figure is made up of 414 males and 11 females. The table below lists the Institutions in which this cohort are held:
