Minister for Justice and Law Reform (Deputy Dermot Ahern): Information on Dermot Ahern  Zoom on Dermot Ahern  I am informed by the Irish Naturalisation and Immigration Service (INIS) that the person referred to by the Deputy made an application for further leave to remain in the State on 23 September, 2009. As there was conflicting information documented in this case, clarification was sought as to the status of the person referred to. Officials in my Department inform me that they are now in a position to make a decision in this case and they will be in touch with this person shortly.
