Minister for Tourism, Culture and Sport
if he has responsibility for giving or refusing consent for work to the national monument at 14-17 Moore Street, Dublin.

Minister for Tourism, Culture and Sport (Deputy Jimmy Deenihan):
With effect from 1 May 2011, responsibility for heritage functions, including those under the National Monuments Act to which the question relates, were transferred to my Department. A further order will be made shortly renaming my Department as the Department of Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht.
