  778.  Deputy Finian McGrath  Information on Finian McGrath  Zoom on Finian McGrath   asked the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government  Information on Philip Hogan  Zoom on Philip Hogan   in view of a recent communication from the EU DG Competition in relation to rural development funding from LEADER projects in excess of €200,000, if he will confirm if the notification process is proceeding (details supplied); and if he will make a statement on the matter. [937]Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government (Deputy Phil Hogan): Information on Philip Hogan  Zoom on Philip Hogan  I can confirm that the notification process to obtain the necessary state aid clearance to provide grant aid in excess of €200,000 under the Basic Services and Village Renewal measures of the Rural Development Programme 2007-2013 is underway and is at an advanced stage. A final response is expected from DG Competition in the coming weeks.
