When is it proposed to sit again?
Professor Dooge:
It is proposed that the House, at the conclusion of today's business, should adjourn until 2.30 p.m. on Tuesday, 3 July 1984. With regard to the matter that we want to discuss on the Adjournment, because of the meeting today of the Council of Ministers in Brussels and our impending Presidency, both the Minister for the Environment and the Minister of State at the Department of the Environment are out of the country and consequently neither of them is able to appear. Because of the large crush of business occurring in the other House and other commitments there is some difficulty in getting a Minister who would be responsible as it were in some way cognate to this problem to appear. I suggest that we suspend the sitting until 3.15 p.m. and it is hoped that a Minister will be available then.
