Referendum (Amendment) (No. 2) Bill, 1992: Committee and Final Stages.

I move amendment No. 1: In page 3, between lines 2 and 3, to insert the following:

I will not start a row over the question of a few feet. I appreciate the Minister's confidence that the Dáil will sit next week and will be in a position to deal with the other Bill.

In the popular media the question is called the substantive issue. That is the basic reason we use that term. I do not have any problem with any of the other terms. It is really a matter of emphasis....
