Mr. Manning: Information on Maurice Manning  Zoom on Maurice Manning  Senator Fitzgerald and I are glad the Dáil has had the good sense to agree to the amendments made by this House to the Universities Bill, 1996.

I want to amend the Order of Business. Each speaker has 15 minutes on this item and all Stages will be taken this evening. Item 3 was ordered for 11 p.m. but I propose it should be taken immediately after the conclusion of item 2.

Mr. Fitzgerald: Information on Tom Fitzgerald  Zoom on Tom Fitzgerald  I agree with the amendment to the Order of Business. I also welcome the common [675] sense shown by the Lower House in accepting the amendments to the Universities Bill, 1996.
