I wish to raise the abduction of Fr. Des Hartford in the Philippines on 27 October last. The safety of Fr. Hartford who is a native of Lusk, County Dublin, is a matter of grave concern to his brother...
I have no doubt Senator Ross will not take his pension when he leaves this House.
Does the Senator not get a day off?
On a point of order, we raised item No. 4 on the Order Paper the week before last.
I am seeking the consent of the Leader and of the House to have this Bill published so it may be discussed in Private Members' time.
I am not setting a precedent. I apologise if I get emotional over this matter, but I ask the Chair to be generous and allow this Bill to be printed so it may be discussed in Private Members' time.
I asked the Leader of the House for this to be discussed and perhaps he will address the matter when he replies.
