In accordance with Standing Order 62, leave is given to proceed with the Bill which is now deemed to be read for the first time in the Seanad.
Order of Business.
Does the Senator have a question for the Leader?
Is Senator Norris moving an amendment to the Order of Business?
The Senator can provide those reasons when the matter is debated.
The Senator need not give the reasons, he should just move the amendment.
Senator Norris is proposing that item 11, motion 22, be taken.
We do not want the reasons to be outlined on the Order of Business.
These are matters for the debate.
That matter was dealt with and we cannot revisit it. Does the Senator have a question for the Leader?

It is not in order to raise that matter on the Order of Business. The Senator can raise it during the debate on the Bill.

Amendment No. 28 to amendment No. 15 is related to principal amendment No. 18 and these can be discussed together.
We have now disposed of the 28 amendments tabled to amendment No. 15. Amendment No. 15, as amended, put. Tá

I have notice from Senator Norris regarding a motion he wishes to raise under Standing Order 29. I call Senator Norris to give notice of the motion before I give my ruling.
I have given careful consideration to the matter raised by the Senator which I do not consider to be one contemplated by Standing Order 29. I regret, therefore, that I have had to rule it out of order...
